Alexis Willingham, DVM
Veterinarian, Practice Owner
Dr. Willingham grew up on a dairy farm in the North East Texas town of Sulphur Springs, where she was exposed to veterinary medicine at an early age. Both of her parents and her younger sister have been in the veterinary profession. She also has a sister that is involved in canine genetics research. Through vet school, she had the opportunity to do a summer rotation in Ghana, West Africa, setting up an animal welfare society and was able to complete her externship at a veterinary practice in Orbost, Australia. After graduating from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, she worked several years in a mixed animal practice north of Denton taking care of both large and small animals followed by a small animal practice in Little Elm. She and her husband, Joe, now live in Prosper with their three young boys. Dr. Willingham's veterinary interests include internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and endocrinology. She is also passionate about the importance of preventative medicine, feline medicine, and senior pet health.

Christi Linley, DVM
Dr. Linley was born in Overland Park, Kansas, but was raised in Flower Mound, Texas. She vowed to become a veterinarian when her childhood best fried, a spunky cat named Snooper, passed away from feline leukemia virus. She attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 2006 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She has a special interest in internal medicine and oncology. During her free time, Dr. Linley enjoys scrapbooking, horseback riding, and spending time with friends and family. She and her husband, Kevin, live in Prosper with their two beautiful girls, Victoria and Madelyn.

Staci R. Dennis, DVM, DABVP (canine & feline practice)
Dr. Staci Dennis moved back to north Texas in April 2018 to join Prosper Trail Animal Hospital. Originally from Wichita Falls, she studied and practiced veterinary medicine in College Station for 20 years. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science in 2002 and from the veterinary medical program in 2007. In 2015, she completed one of her personal and professional goals of becoming certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in canine and feline practice. Her veterinary interest include wound management, internal medicine, ophthalmology, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, she loves to go on the fun adventures that her husband is always planning for the family. She is married to her true love, Brady, and they live in Prosper with their two young daughters.

Heather Larson, DVM
Dr. Larson is a Southern California native. She left the West Coast to attend Texas A&M University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences in 2003 and subsequent Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her career with veterinary medicine has transitioned from equine medicine to small animal practice and occasionally a mix of both. She has had an opportunity to with with a number of non-profit organizations along the way, fostering her passion for rescue animal health and welfare. Dr. Larson's professional interests include soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging, and preventative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time outdoors with her husband, Tom, and their two children.

Amanda has been with the PTAH Team since the doors opened in June 2013 and has worked with Dr. Willingham since 2006. Having worked in the animal industry since 1999, she has done it all from summer kennel assistant, bather, receptionist, technician, and since 2009 office manager. Amanda really enjoys working with both clients and their pets and uses all of her past experience to make PTAH a great place for our patients, their owners, and the staff. She received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas Tech University in 2005 and now lives in Carrollton with her husband, Brandon, and their two little boys, Colton and Cameron.

Head Veterinary Technician
Nicole has been with the PTAH Team since February 2014 and has worked with Dr. Willingham since 2008. She started working in the animal industry in 2000. Her favorite place to be is up in the mountains. Her hobbies are riding her horses with her daughter and hiking with her dogs. Nicole grew up in the Prosper/ Celina area and has enjoyed watching the community grow. She lives in Celina with her husband and family.

Head Veterinary Receptionist
Sherrie has been with the PTAH Team since June 2014 and has worked with Dr. Willingham since 2007 when she started working in the animal industry. Sherrie grew up in Little Elm where she currently lives with her husband. She has three grown daughters and one adorable grandson. She enjoys reading, fishing, and watching movies during her off time.

Courtnee has been with the PTAH Team since August 2016. Courtnee is from Little Elm, TX where she has lived her whole life. Her passion for animals started when she was 11 and bottle fed her pride and joy, her husky mix Bugaboo, for three weeks when her dog mom got sick. Her hobbies are taking her dogs for walks, riding horses at her Aunt's, and spending time with friends and family.

Chelsea has been with the PTAH Team since August 2016. She started working in the veterinary industry in 2014 and spends her weekends working at a local ER vet clinic. Chelsea is finishing completion for pre-requisites for nursing to obtain her ADN, then BSN. She grew up around the North Dallas area primarily in Frisco, but she currently resides in Celina. Chelsea enjoys sleeping, horseback riding, and anything outdoors in her spare time.

Natalie has been with the PTAH Team since June 2016. She has lived in Texas for as long as she can remember! Natalie graduated from Oklahoma State with a BS in Animal Science in May 2020 and is currently attend vet school at OSU. She enjoys traveling, spending time outside and baking during her free time.

Hannah has been with the PTAH Team since September 2017. She was born and raised in Las Vegas and currently lives in Frisco. She spent her high school years interning at her local animal shelter and fostering litters of kittens. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, miles and going to see the newest movies.

Megan joined the PTAH Team in April 2019 after moving from her hometown of Waco, TX. She graduated from Iowa Western Community College in 2017 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. Megan's biggest goal is to visit and enjoy all the national parks with her son, James and her husband, Scott. You'll find her hiking Texas state parks with her dogs in her off time!

Kristy has been with the PTAH Team since May 2019. She was born and spent her younger years in Georgia. She moved to Texas with her family when she was 11 years old and has lived all over north Texas. Her love for animals began when she was very young. Her aunt owned several horses and tutored her on their care and handling. Since that time, she has loved and owned all types of animals. She enjoys all types of music, singing, dancing, and going to live concerts. She also loves hanging out with family and friends.

Alyson has been with the PTAH Team since May 2019. She is originally from Louisiana. She moved to Texas in 2005 and has lived in this area ever since. She has always loved animals and has a passion for caring for them. Alyson grew up having dogs in the house which only grew her love for them. Her favorite thing to do outside of work is to go hiking with her husband, Shane.

Kennel Technician, Student
CJ has been with the PTAH Team since May 2019. He is originally from Michigan, but has been in Prosper since Kindergarten. He is currently attending Michigan State University and is a political science - pre law major but continues to work at PTAH when he is home for breaks. CJ enjoys traveling, driving around, and listening to music.

DJ has been with the PTAH Team since June 2019. She has lived in Texas all her life, and currently lives in Allen with her husband. She has been in the animal industry since 2014 working in shelters, daycares, and hospitals, whish has sparked her passion in caring for animals. Outside of work she likes to read while cuddled up with her pets or doing crafts to soak up her free time.

Melissa has been with the PTAH Team since July 2019. She was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas. In June of 2019, she relocated with her family to Anna, Texas. She started working in the animal field in 2016 and she received her veterinary technician certification in January of 2018. She hopes to continue her education further by receiving her associates degree and become a licensed veterinary technician. In her spare time, you'll find her at the motocross tracks riding dirt bikes with her family.

Kennel Technician, Student
Hope has been with the PTAH Team since March 2020. She has always loved animals and has always known that she wants to be a Veterinarian. Hope is currently taking veterinary classes offered at her high school, as well as other honor classes they off such as AP biology and anatomy & physiology. Outside of work, Hope enjoys relaxing on the beach and spending time with her friends.

Yami has been with the PTAH Team since July 2020. Yami is originally from the Dominican Republic. She is a student at Prosper High School, where she is taking veterinary science classes. After graduation, Yami hopes to attend Texas Tech University and major in equine science. Outside of work, Yami loves to travel and one of her favorite things to do when traveling is visit the local zoo. Her dream is to visit at least one zoo in each state.

Sara has been with the PTAH Team since August 2020. Sara lives in McKinney with her husband and three kids. In her spare time, Sara enjoys being outdoors and hanging out with friends and family.

Amber has been with the PTAH Team since August 2020. She is currently attending Frisco Heritage High School where she is the Vice President of their Chapter FFA Organization. She has had the love of animals all her life as she grew up around her family showing dogs, specifically whippets. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being with her family and friends.

Wayland has been with the PTAH Team since October 2020. He is married to his Queen Susan who used to be a veterinary technician at PTAH. She and their children, are just some of the prayer that God has answered and bestowed upon him. Wayland has been a Professional Dog Trainer and a Veterinary Technician for over 25 years. Dog training is just one of many joys, like hiking, swimming and working out. Being a big people person, he enjoys the interaction of the clients and their pets.
