Q: Any musical artist you absolutely love that are ashamed to admit you do?
A: Taylor Swift but I am not ashamed!!!
Q: How did you meet your husband?
A: We worked at Hastings together when I was freshman in college at Texas A&M. Before we dated I told a friend that we would get married one day! Next year will be 20 years together! 😍😍😍

Q: What are three things you could not live without?
A: My husband and 2 kids
Q: If you weren’t working as a vet, what would you be doing?
A: I would love to restore old, historic home-sites.
Q: Who was your first pet?
A: A Lhasa Apso named Dusty. He was pretty mean and used to bite us all the time, even sending my dad to the ER for stitches. Maybe that’s why I don’t mind the spicy patients?!?! :)
Q: What is your go-to comfort food?
A: Chips and queso - from anywhere!
Q: What has been your proudest accomplishment in your veterinarian?
A: In 2015 I completed my board certification in canine and feline practice and that was a proud moment. I set that as a goal when I graduated as a way to continuously try to improve my skills and knowledge. The certification took years to complete and definitely transformed me into a better veterinarian.
Q: What takes up too much of your time?
A: Dishes and laundry— it never ends!
Q: What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
A: Making a home here in Prosper!
Q: Would you rather go hang gliding or whitewater rafting?
A: Yes to both!
Q: What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
A: Heartworm disease!
Q: What’s the best single day on the calendar?
A: I’d have to say April 25th. Because it’s not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket!
Q: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
A: I would love to have horses and for my girls to grow up with them.
Q: If you didn’t ever have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time in your day?
A: Spend more time with my family and dogs.
