Dr. Christi Linley does it all - she's a wife, mother, and an amazing veterinarian to boot! We asked Dr. Linley 12 questions to get to know her better!
Q: What aspect of your job do you enjoy the most?
A: My favorite thing is sending sick patients home much healthier and happier than they were when they came in.
Q: What would you be doing if you didn’t work with animals?
A: Definitely interior design. I’d be the next Joanna Gaines!
Q: If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and why?
A: The ability to transform into different animals. If you need to fly away, be a bird. If you need to defend yourself, be a tiger! If you want to be a queen, be a cat.
Q: What is your proudest moment at Prosper Trail Animal Hospital?
A: I have had several patients who were struggling with chronic conditions that have made AMAZING improvements. Working with owners to help their pets live their best possible life and seeing progress in your patients is so rewarding.
Q: What is one item on your bucket list?
A: I want to go to Europe - Ireland, especially. And Italy!
Q: How would you spend your last day on Earth?
A: With my family - we would go to Dillon, Colorado (as long as the last day on Earth takes place in the summertime) and spend our last day in the mountains. Something about being in the mountains makes me feel so much closer to God.
Q: I'm happiest when......
A: .......I’m at home relaxing with my family and holding my girls (and they’re behaving).
Q: If you were stranded on an island, what are 3 things you could not live without?
A: Diet Dr. Pepper, Chocolate, Air conditioning.
Q: What is the last movie you saw in theaters?
A: The Incredibles II. Honestly, not as good as the first one!
Q: What is one food that you could eat every day for the rest of your life?
A: Potatoes in any form. French fries are number 1, but they have to be salty. If it’s deep-fried and smothered in chocolate, I’m down.
Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
A: Pay off my student loans. And once that’s taken care of, travel! I want to see so many places and travel the world.
Q: Is there a musical artist that you are ashamed to admit you love?
A: Nope - my favorite kind of music is 90’s alternative rock. Who would be ashamed of loving that? It's the best!
